    Yes, but it varies by OS. We have some documentation for fonts located here.

    You'd have to centrally locate the fonts. Your other option is to embedded the fonts as attachments. That's how most embedded ASS subs include their fonts. Not sure if those embedded attachments would carry over to external ASS subs.
