Greetings & Salutations!
I'm Aeon, & I started using Jellyfin several years ago after too many issues with my streaming subscriptions.
My Jellyfin server is a desktop tower that I rescued from the dumpster. The case was smashed on the side and front, but the inside was untouched. It did not boot due to a defective memory module; however that was easy to replace, as well as adding an internal drive for media and an external drive for backup. My "open air" media server has been chugging along for 2 years without any issue!
Up until now, It's been running Windows 10, however recently I decided to finally switch all my computers to linux. After much distro-hopping, I've settled on a Fedora-based distro called Ultramarine. I'm still learning the ins and outs of linux, however I couldn't be happier with my setup!
My goal is to become knowledgeable enough to help support jellyfin developement on fedora-based systems. It's high-time I give back to the open-source community on which I've depended on for so many years!
