If you are storing trickplays centrally in Jellyfin's data directory, I believe it should keep the existing trick plays if you move the movie to another folder.
Pros of having trickplays with your movies:
-Portability
-Guaranteed to only need to generate them once
-If you have a small SSD for Jellyfin's data, having it with your media ensures that trickplays don't fill up your limited disk space
Cons:
-Most likely your media is on a HDD and Jellyfin probably runs off a SSD. Depending on disk speed and what other services you have running, this can result in less responsiveness. May or may not be noticeable.
-Clutters your media directories, if you are OCD about that kind of thing.
