If I understand properly, your 6 people are allowed for Direct stream only and using Roku they are able to play anything from your server including problematic Dolby Vision 7.x etc. which are buggy under AndroidTV app its exoplayer.

It looks like Roku is not using problematic AndroidTV Jellyfin app. Wonderful.
I just checked their website and products, Roku Streaming Stick or Roku Ultra with 4k, HDR, Dolby Vision sounds promissing to me.

I will read some reviews and probably will give it a try.
