Not sure if this is the place for it, but I tried this today, I have a test of Jellyfin running on 10.10.3, I added as a mapped drive via device name and IP (two separate drives) But it is not working.
And I believe it will not work, as, by design Windows does not usually let services connect to shares that are mapped as drives. Didn't really think of it when I was asking you initially, as I had (so many) other things on my mind.
To my knowledge, the only way a service can access a share is by name/ip (UNC) using the credentials the service is logged in as (in the service logon tab). To my knowledge, this is the only way and alternate credentials will not work. If there is another way, I am unfamiliar.
