To clarify, you're running on a VPS somewhere else? Any connect is RDP or VPN, correct?
You'd need to tunnel to that machine on every device you wish to use (e.g., Tailscale, Wireguard), find out whether the VPS has a static IP or associated domain name and use that, or set up a reverse proxy on the VPS to handle traffic to it. All three are ways to connect to that machine or network. You cannot disable the use of another network and you wouldn't want to since if the machine is remote, you wouldn't be able to connect at all anymore.
