I know this thread is a bit old, but I've noticed it's started showing up in searches for my sort of issue so I figured I would share the fix that worked for me! My issue turned out being related to Cloudflare DNS Caching, which was causing very long load times for certain TV episodes and sometimes causing the plugin marketplace to not load. Anyways, what I had to do was create a Page Rule under Rules > Page Rules. Then just create a rule affecting [jf subdomain].[yourdomain].com/* with the Cache Level setting to Bypass. You saved me, I spent countless hours trying to figure out why suddenly media wasn't instantly playing on Jellyfin Android TV but it was in pc browser/android app.
I did the change a few months ago from open ports to cloudflare tunnels and didn´t realize that since then my Android TV app has been having these buffering issues, very annoying, I was even considering switching to Plex.
