I can say at the very least that the web interface stacks rows rather than a single scrolling row.
Just tested, WebOS does the same. Even the Android mobile app stacks rows vertically based on the available column space. Without an Android TV device, I can't say whether or not that's the case, but it appears that is the general design principle.
