Jellyfin Media Player was forked from Plex media player and not related to anything that Emby does.

Jellyfin Media Player has support for plugins so you may be able to modify the external player plugin you mentioned. I don’t have any other suggestions as what you are attempting to do isn’t something Jellyfin supports.
