SOLVED: High CPU usage in certain situations

Some Applications throttle CPU when using subtitles.

I had a very high cpu usage due to jellyfin/docker
Host:
Linux Mint
AMD R4800H
NVIDIA GF RTX2060

Problem:
Consistent 80% on all 16 (8x2) processors..
It starts when starting to play a film and goes on when I pause it.
-> enormous fan activity

Fix:
Under playback > transcoding:
Explicitly switching to nvidia did nothing. However, enabling throttling changed cpu usage to a steady negligable Smiling-face
