I spent the entire day trying to do this and followed the video to a Tee but my ports will not open on my router. I set up the port forwarding rules properly (and the Linux UFW ports) and disabled a whole bunch of stuff to make sure that wasn't it, but the ports will not open on portchecker. Do ISPs not allow these ports to open? I even tried alternative ports (8880, etc) and they wouldn't open either, as well as working with Copilot which had me run in circles for hours. At this point I feel like it would be easier to figure out Tailscale.

EDIT: Figured it out. Had to call ISP to get open ports.
