I signed up just to say I was able to successfully install Jellyfin after downgrading firmware on my 55U8KQTUK (This is an EU based model).
P0603 did not have the Hisense_installApp function available so I downgraded to N0519(The earliest firmware I could find) with no problems. This allowed me to install Jellyfin no problem using https://github.com/camellan/vidaa-appstore. I also flashed firmware O0904 (which is a later firmware), This also allowed me to install Jellyfin with no problem.
It would be useful if anyone has any early "P" firmwares so that we can find the last firmware that the function "Hisense_InstallApp" was accessible on the TV's. (or even hisense: //debug in web browser with firmware earlier than N). We'll then have a range of firmwares, and possibly might be able to suggest specific firmwares (based off of bugs(or fixed bugs)/features(or removal of features)/security updates)
I am also seeing other comments saying the browser doesn't load anything - if you are self hosting, make sure you are adding the correct port for http or https (with the python app, it's whatever you defined in config.json)
