Question about my Jellyfin Server

Good Morning.  I have Jellyfin running on a computer with a Ryzen 5 with video capability, 32 gb of DDR 4 ram, and a 14 TB HDD.  Sometimes some movies doesn't seem to want to play.  I'll get an error message.  Sometimes if I"m patient, it will finally start streaming.  My question is, if I added a video card, would that speed things up?  I thought that my proccessor with it's many threads and speed, coupled with 32 gb of ddr ram would make it fast enough to transcode the streams.  If you do feel a video card would help, it there one that would work that would be cost effective.  I can't afford a 3090. lol
