I don’t consider content purchased on platforms as my property: I can’t do whatever I want with the file, the distributor remains in control of it, and once the subscription expires, the content disappears. For this reason, I don’t buy (or rather, rent) anything from platforms. I prefer methods where I actually own the file and can use it however I choose. Maybe Jellyfin in the future will be able to connect with Amazon or iTunes, but I believe that before the technical issue, there’s a copyright issue.
