just out of curiosity I wanted to see if the rebuilding the db would work. I’m not sure how to find the specific show within the db to try and delete it (nor am I sure this would be a good idea) other than finding an entry in BaseItems related to the show
I renamed the db to .old and recreated my libraries. The offending show scanned in without issue this time.
Not sure what happened, nor am I sure of a way going forward to manage this situation better. If a db entry somehow gets malformed metadata there should be a way to remove this other than just starting over from scratch, no? If I can find a way to make the old db work that would be ideal as that still has my watch history, custom metadata tweaks, etc plus if this happens happen I’d like to ID a fix
