Port 8096, which I believe is the JF default and is the port showing on the server's address.
Pinging from another PC without any problem (o ms).
Had a talk with the ISP a few weeks ago; wanted them to set a fixed IP address for the NAS, because we have rather frequent power failures and the NAS address keeps changing - was told that there's no point as their software will reset it (?). Didn't really understand that part. It's an almost-mom & pop-level operation and we get good service, but there is some weird stuff... Anyway, that's why I figure they might have something to do with it. The problem is my DOS-Master days are far behind me, and I don't have the knowledge, mental capacity OR patience to deal with this...
