I bagned my head lots of times on my issue but couldn't solve it, need advice.
In my current setup, I have a NAS server on Raspberry with OpenMediaVault, using Jellyfin on Docker as a server. I have another Raspberry using LibreELEC+Kodi as my HTPC; it is connected to my TV. I setup Jellyfin for Kodi, everything works, all my music, movies, series, and all is correctly shown and reproduced by Kodi.
My main issue is with music: I can't use shuffle/repeat, and using party mode doesn't work (I got an error saying no suitable track has been found). This limits me to play one song, then Kodi stops and I have to manually select the next one, which is annoying. Whenever I'm reproducing a song and hit shuffle, nothing changes (it says "deactivated"), same with repeat. Also when watching TV series Kodi stops after every episode, forcing me to manually reproduce the next one.
Also, I am having trouble with playlist sync, not sure it is connected or not. I had four playlists which I eliminated, then created another two on Jellyfin server...and Kodi, despite updating several times the library, only sees the old ones (which, of course, can't be reproduced). However, Finamp on my desktop works well: playlists ok, shuffle/repeat working fine.
I tried connecting Kodi directly with the shared folders of the NAS through SMB, but all I got was duplicate entries in my library...and I think this bypasses Jellyfin, losing play count and everything else.
Jellyfin on Kodi is currently setup as addon (the default one). If I setup as native paths, I can't reproduce anything.
Where am I doing wrong?
