I had submitted a pull for the JF android client some time back to fix this problem there, but it's back on android as well. Did something change in 10.11.x server and/or interface to release the tuner?
Edit:
- There is an issue opened for the JF Roku client not releasing HDHR tuners recently opened on github.
- The android client doesn't release the tuner if the video player is set to the integrated player/exoplayer. It works correctly when the video player is set to the web player, so this can be a short term workaround on android.
Progress... it does look like client changes may be needed for both the JF Roku and JF Android apps.
