As i am just a simple user, i cannot tell if there even are downsides - but maybe alot of paths per library (in your example that would probably be 20+) lead to longer scantimes or maybe there even is a limit per library.. i have not tried it.
It was just a suggestion so you would not have to rearange your folderstructure.
