Ah sorry for not clarifying, I updated the desktop JellyfinMediaPlayer to 1.9.1. You got me thinking though so I checked the server version too and saw it was older one. After updating it to the newest version everything is working fine as before, so it's just a case of media player not being fully reverse compatible. Thanks for the help
