10.10 vs 10.8 Requirements?

I ran Jellyfin 10.8 on a raspberry pi 3, buster, without issue. I disabled transcoding and could stream videos. I then upgraded to the latest RaspianOS to install 10.10 and the PI keeps being overloaded to the point that I have to reboot to get SSH working again. Is there a difference between 10.10 and 10.8 that would account for this?

In 10.9, Jellyfin integrated trickplay creation instead of as a plugin. Is that what it is overloading on? Can you share your full jellyfin log via privatebin.net?

I choose a different OS and tried again. It works now.
