    hey

i'm happy that the "allowed tag" feature was added for child protection, but this means i have to edit all my child friendly media with a specific tag
i've started doing it manually but it may take some time

is there a way to quickly select a lot of media and edit the tags?
basically i want to select x-amount of child-friendly media and add the tag "childallowed"

do you have an idea how i could acomplish this?

The parental control system should automate all of that. In Dashboard > User > (Select User) > Parental Control there is a max rating setting that should work much better when compared to 10.8. Tried it out with my kid's account earlier today and it appears to work correctly.

well, kind of... but this automatic system is the reason why I was in a hurry to manually white-list the movies and shows

I had given white listed media the manual rating of "approved" before and that worked well with the parent controls of an allowed max rating

after 10.9 I saw that my children's profiles display only part of the media and many of them doubled, which I could neither explain nor fix. then I saw that all the sudden some (war) movies were available to them that definitely weren't a week ago

as we are currently in a new round of "today it's your turn to be sick" I was in a hurry to get the profiles in order quickly

the new white-list tag option is a god send and seems to work foolproof. only thing I fear would be an automated update of the, Metadata which hopefully should not happen xD I pushed through most of my media manually by now - but where could I "ask"/propose for the addition of a possibility to select multiple media and add a specific tag?
