best way to read Dolby vision + Dolby atmos content with srt/pgs subtitles

Hello, I would like to know the best way to read Dolby vision + Dolby atmos content with srt/pgs subtitles.

Exoplayer: Plays DV+ DA content but has difficulty loading subtitles.

LibVLC: does not play the DV

Nova Player: reads DV+DA but does not read pgs (and seems to crash at times)

I heard about kodi but I'm lost between the "normal" version and the kodinerds maven version.

So if anyone can help me I would be very grateful.

I use jellyfin on my Nvidia Shield.

yes only kodi is supporting PGS subs
only kodi versions 21+ are supporting DV in mkv containers which means the beta or nightly version
avoid the nightly version from the last week or so because they broke the select button
there may or may not be issues with syncing jellyfin to kodi on nightly versions starting January 9th so a version earlier than this

if you want details on the differences in the maven builds i suggest you hit the kodinerds forum and ask directly, i have never used it
