I have only movies in a Movies folder. Is there a way to make certain movies all appear as a single item in my Movies list? For example... could I have Alien, Aliens, Alien 3, and Alien Resurrection all appear in my movies list as "Alien Saga"?

Basically the same way TV Shows work, but is there a way I can name a folder or file or something to manually create that special rule within my Movies?

The only way to do this is with a collection(s). The Movies library type does not allow grouping like this.

There is a plugin called "TMDB Box Sets". It is in the official plugin repo. It will automatically create collections like Syou're describing.

Ok I see. Thanks for the reply!

I have some weird folders I'm not sure how to organize. For example: Battlestar Galactica has 4 seasons of the show, and then a few movie releases. Also I have some miniseries shows I'm not sure where to put them to organize them the best way. Like Frank Herbert's Dune and Children of Dune that came out on the Sci-Fi channel back in 2000 and 2003. Each is a 3 part miniseries.

Any advice from anyone on how they handle these special cases would be appreciated! I love good organization!

There isn't a "Best" way to organize your media. Just the way you want. So you have to find the solution that Jellyfin supports that is closest to what you want.

IIRC (I don't use collections btw), collections can contain both shows and movies. Jellyfin does have the "mixed" library type, but its a legacy capability that isn't well supported and doesn't work very well.

So I think collections is still the best solution for your need, but would require you to manually create them.
