Hey everyone. I wan't to migrate to 10.11.0 soon, but unfortunately I've been using the "Mixed Movies and Shows" library type, which is deprecated for the new version.
I'd like to change the File Structure to the segregated style, but without loosing any Metadata or similar before doing so.
Do you guys know any scripts or similar which could help me with that, or do I need to bite the bullet and redo all my metadata? I've looked ad The Jellyfin Migrator, but I don't think it works for this usecase.
Current Structure:
Media
├─Movie1 (2019).mkv
├─Movie2 (2019).mkv
├─Series1 (2016)
│ └─Season 1
│ └─episode 1.mkv
├─Franchise Collection
│ ├─Movies
│ │ └─Movie3 (2019).mkv
│ └─Series2 (2017)
│ └─Season 1
│ └─episode1.mkv
Desired Structure:
As seen here and here
I'm not storing any metadata in the folders themselves, just the raw video files, and I can't easily change that right now, because of how my Media Share is setup.
I can move the Files by hand, I just need a way to change the databases.
As far as I know all this needs to be done before upgrading, or else data might get lost
Thanks for your help!
