    Hey Guys.
Sorry for my english, im from Germany:
I have the exame Problem like this Thread:
    https://www.reddit.com/r/jellyfin/commen...a_posters/

I Scrap my data with Ember Media manager. I Only use Jellyfin when i Access from "outside" my Network.
    Otherwise i use Kodi.
So: I want to have the .jpg Poster etc in my Movie Folder because i need it for kodi.
Is there Anyway to stop Jellyfin scanning my Poster even when they stay inside the Folder?
Right now i workaround it with stopping the Jellyfin Docker in Unraid.
But when i Acces from outside, i have to start it first...
    A Little bit annoying..
    Thanks guys!

If I'm understanding your question, you want Jellyfin to not read the poster from the library. You want Jellyfin to read the poster from Jellyfin's cache?

If I got that right it should read from the cache for a period of time. But Jellyfin will periodically clean up its cache.

In Dashboard > Scheduled Tasks you can adjust or disable any of these jobs.

Thank you Pirate for your Response!
I Actually dont want, that Jellyfin "wakes"up my disc or scans my Media Files. I Disabled Every checkmark at the libary in my Jellyfin Options.
In my Sheduled Tasks, the only think that is activated is the Mover at 03:00.
My files got checked by Jellyfin at 09:10.
I Understand it right that: When Jellyfin reads the posters from the cache, it dont wakes up the DataDisk? Only wenn i Search for new media or add something when "realtime data" is activated? And to store it in chache, i have to uncheck Save image material in the media directories right?
Im very sorry for my english, i will translate it via Deepl here:
I don't want jellyfin to wake up my hard disks where my files are.
I have deactivated all items in the options.
Only the mover at 03:00 is listed in my tasks.
However, the last access to my hard disk was at 09:10.
So that I understand this correctly, when jellyfin saves the images in the cache, it does not wake up my file hard disk?
Only when I "realtime monitor" or when I manually search for new files?
Currently the access looks like this:
    Jan 03 09:10:43 OPEN => /mnt/disk1/Films/A Quiet Place 2018/A.Quiet.Place.2018.German.DL.1080p.BluRay.x264-HQX-poster.jpg
So it doesn't look like the cache is being accessed, does it?

Ahh i see...scheduled task in jellyfin! Sorry..
Yeah there stands "scan libary. last time about 10 hours"
When i Disable the tastks, the Disk will stay asleep?

Can't say for certain since the OS could require access for some reason and wake the disk. Never tried this. But I'm the opposite. I DON'T want my disks to go to sleep.
