Hello all, apologies beforehand if my message is confusing in anyway as I am a bit of a noob right now at using Jellyfin. Currently I am using ZeroTier to remote connect to my jellyfin server, as this is the best free option for me. I am a bit confused as to what the remote streaming limit setting in Jellyfin is actually limiting. I am blessed enough to have an upload speed in the 100s, and streaming has not been an issue. However, when streaming I can see my ethernet sending packets at up to 100Mpbs, when I have my remote streaming limt set at a far lower rate. Is it possible to limit this upload rate to a lower value, as I do not live alone and do not want to risk interrupting others network connection. Is a remote streaming bitrate limit not the same as what I see being sent from my ethernet adapter? Do I need to include remote IP connections in known proxies? Thank you for your help!
