Failed to connect to Jellyfin Server while using the adroid app + tailscale

Hello all, so I'm trying to make it so i can connect to jellyfin while connect to tailscale. Now while connect to tailscale i can connect to jellyfin through the browser on my phone but using the android app it fails while saying "Tried 2 candidates for input, without success". with tailscale off i can connect through the app and with the browser.

Server is running on a Pop os, using the debuntu download.
the android app im using is version 2.6.2
and the browser im using is firefox

Is your phone using private DNS? Do you have MagicDNS setup in tailscale?
