So I see a couple of these posts, but nothing in them has worked. It plays just fine on PC or even a firestick, but it will not play on tablets or phones. It is something to do with ffmpeg I think, but it is out of my wheelhouse.

Running on a GMKtec Mini PC, Intel Twin Lake N150 running Debian 12 and the newest version of Jellyfin.

I've attached some screenshots and an error log that were asked for in other posts where people had this problem.

I've disabled the low power encoding as was suggested in another thread and restarted still the same errors.

Is Jellyfin in a docker? If, please share your docker.compose.yml file
I can recommend upgrading from Debian 12 to 13
    Debian 12 | Jellyfin 10.10.7 docker | Intel N5105 | RAM 32 GB | 26 TB storage

1st Link: Yep, addressed that in original post

2nd Link: Yes, given that they didn't much explain how they came to that conclusion. I turned off AV1 encoding and the problem still persists.

3rd Link: I did see this yes, but everything there is written for Ubuntu 22 and I am on Debian 12. I don't understand pretty much any of it, which is why I disabled the low power stuff like the first post suggested.

I started googling around and ended up here: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/...t-working/
But again, I understand pretty much none of that. I don't know what emby, proxmox, or the HWE stack are or why I would need those.

I found something called FileFlow and I am just transcoding all the files to av1 as those seemed to work on my android devices. Should take a couple decades at this rate, but that may be faster than me resolving linux problems.

Edit - I looked up Proxmox, and I see no reason to use that. I am soley running Jellyfin on that miniPC, why would I need to containerize it? Emby seems to just be a different type of server. A Jellyfin alternative?

Switched from web player to integrated player on each account. I kept trying to change this setting on the admin side, but it needed to be changed by the user on the user side.
