FFmpeg Command-line Tools HIGH disk usage

When I stream some releases whether they're 4K or 1080p, it stops. When I check my PC I find it really heavy and after looking around, I found out that FFmpeg Command-line Tools is hammering my SSD as you can see here





And this is what happens when I close the stream



FFmpeg is updated, I tried to delete Jellyfin FFmpeg, same thing happened with the regular FFmpeg.

I stress again that this happens with some releases

You are streaming high bitrate contents and ffmpeg is coping those high bitrate stream to its cache. What is the problem with that?

Didn't know that honestly, my problem that it stops until I close FFmpeg Command-line Tools from Task Manger. Also I always stream High bitrate content with no problems. But some releases it causes this issue.

Is there a workaround for it? Thx

I still don't understand your question because everything looks normal to me. This is how it should be working. The file you are trying to stream is 24GB in size and ffmpeg will copy the whole 24GB file and it will take some time and could show as high IO usage. But all the above behavior is working as intended.

What is the actual problem you are having make you believe jellyfin is misbehaving, other than a bit high performance statistics?

Okay now I understand. So all I got to do is wait for copying to finish in order to stream properly?

It does copy in the meantime with streaming. If your client cannot play the copied stream it is your client's problem, not a server problem.

Okay, the thing is, when the stream in LGTV stops, and I go to the server and close FFmpeg Command-line Tools from Task Manger. The stream immediately resume in the client.
