Trying to get started with jellyfin. after I ran the installer Jellyfin.Windows.Tray.exe refuses to run, even when running as admin. the only solution I was able to find from the past was from 4 years ago and it recommended going to CConfused-faceWindows/temp/.net but I was not able to find the .net folder. another response recommended going to C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\Temp“ but I still was not able to find the .net folder. Im on windows 11. any assistance would be appreciated

When you ran the installer, did you run it as admin? You should run it as yourself. Uninstall, run the installer WITHOUT selecting to run as admin, select basic install.
    Jellyfin 10.10.7 (Docker)
    Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS w/HWE
    Intel i3 12100
    Intel Arc A380
    OS drive - SK Hynix P41 1TB
    Storage
4x WD Red Pro 6TB CMR in RAIDZ1

I did not run the installer as admin. I only tried to run Jellyfin.Windows.Tray.exe as admin because trying to run like normal wasnt working. Ive also tried uninstalling and reinstalling but still nothing

    C:\ProgramData\Jellyfin\Server\Logs

Are there any log files in there?

this may sound like a dumb question, but we have to start somewhere

    have you restarted your PC?

also, nothing happens when you run the .exe, the program launches in the background.

you have to go to localhost:8096 in a browser to access jellyfin. so its possilbe it running and you dont think it is if you havent tested that.
