A bit late in seeing this, Unfortunately I haven't been able to get a Synology NAS,but by the end of the month I should have one. went to buy a Synology DS423+ and the price shot up.
Did you end up trying to install Jellyfin on your Synology NAS? I am about to try on mine (DS918+) as well. I run my Plex off of it and it works great, curious to try Jellyfin but it does seem a bit more complex to setup.
