Firestick Cannot Shuffle

I have many videos that I have taken of local bands throughout the years. I have been trying to get them to shuffle on my firestick without any success. 
I am up to date ...

Build version

What is the secret? 
I see some solutions mention to add an .nfo file.. which I did... but it doesn't say what the .nfo file should contain or if I need one for each of the 500 videos I have in that library.

Is shuffle restricted to a specific content type? I have that set on Music videos.


I am hosting the server on a Mac Mini M2 running Sonoma 14.6.1

I've recently reported an issue with shuffling in general, so that may affect JF under a firestick too. There's already a pull request to fix it, but it's still waiting to be merged.
