    I was able to find this thread (and a few others) which described the issue that I am having, but unfortunately no solutions presented in any of them resolved my issue.

    I just installed TrueNas scale (ElectricEel-24.10.1) and installed Jellyfin (App Version: 10.10.3 Version: 1.1.13 ) via their apps.

    I set up my TrueNas pool as pool -> home -> media -> tvshows
                                                                                  -> movies

    I set up the TrueNas pool -> home directories directly in the TrueNas dashboard, media -> tvshows/movies I created in Windows file explorer.

    I set up Jellyfin to have two libraries: Shows and Movies, both (I think) are set up to read from their respective directories.

    I haven't fooled around much with permissions outside of setting up a user that isn't admin, but that user should have full read/write access to the home directory and everything in it.

    When I go to Jellyfin and scan all libraries, it scans for maybe a tenth of a second and nothing changes. I only have 1 season of "Invincible" uploaded to the TV Shows folder for testing right now, but Jellyfin doesn't detect it. Help?

    You can't nest media like that.
    Separate your shows and movie, then make a different library for each.

    Thanks, I didn't know. I re-did the folders in TrueNas along with what I believe are the correct permissions, and re-did the additional storage host paths in the Jellyfin app settings. Unfortunately, Jellyfin still doesn't "see" the media that I've manually uploaded to the folders, even after a library scan.

    Can you provide screenshots of how you have the container configured? And how you have the libraries setup as well as folder and file name examples?
