So i have jellyfin installed on a Lenovo thinkcentre m920q 8th gen intel 32 gb ram 250gb ssd which ubuntu is installed on.
i have the ugreen nas dxp2800 with one wd red 4tb hdd with my movies stored on it.
So i can access the movie folder on the nas from ubuntu and see the movies from there etc..
when i go to Files/Other Locations/
under networks i see my nas i can open it and as mentioned access the movies folder..
also i can highlight on the left side and i see a smb address
i have tried adding that into Jellyfin and it does not find it
i have tried adding the ip addy in fstab //ip/ /mnt/home/nas cifs credentials=/home/cd/password.txt, iochrest=utf8
and ill save nano exit to terminal and then sudo mount -a i get a prase error at line 13 i once got an error no such file or directory
im new to fstab etc and im getting quite confused i have tried some tuts on youtube and google and im not getting anywhere
so some help would greatly be appreciated lol!! im getting ready to pull my hair out lol
