How can I put TV Show and Movie folders inside of another "series" folder?

Is there a plugin or setting I can change to allow Jellyfin to detect TV Shows and Movies inside of a separate folder? I have a few TV shows that include multiple shows and movies, and I don't just want to do all the work and have one TV show containing everything. It also doesn't look as good.

For example, I own the complete DVD box set for Steven Universe. Steven Universe is a series that includes the first 5 seasons, a movie, and then another separate limited series. Is there a way I can have a folder containing all of those? Something like this:

Currently, if I set up a folder containing everything, Jellyfin will only detect each show/movie as a season, which doesn't allow me to separate the seasons, and limits the details of each piece of media.

That is not what I’m looking for. I’m looking for something that allows me to group different movies and TV shows in the same folder, I don’t want them merged.

I misunderstood your message. I think your best option is to create a collection. First, select the TV series, then open the context menu and choose "Add to collection," creating a new collection. Then, repeat the process for you other media, adding them to the collection you created.

A collection won’t be in the Shows or Movies libraries with other media, they’ll *only* be in the collections library. and I have a collections folder for other things anyway, that I wouldn’t want random TV shows to be in.

Your options are to abide by how TMDB, and other line DBs, organize Steven Universe, which is not how you currently have it, or manually providing metadata.

To achieve what you want would require you bringing in your own NFOs and images for metadata and disabling online providers.

That’s pretty inconvenient to manually organize each series. And, even then it wouldn’t list each piece of media separately, extra media would be in the same show at all the other seasons. It’s also pretty time consuming to do that for everything, and I can’t refresh metadata without needing to redo it all over again.

I was asking if there was a plugin or way that I could make it work as sort of a separate collection within the movies or show library, so it can auto-detect and do it automatically without all those limitations.
