My current setup for Jellyfin v10.9.3 is Truenas Scale Dragonfish using sandboxes.
I followed this video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S0nTRvAHAP8
I have a jail with docker. Jellyfin is running on Dockge as a container using the Linuxserver.io image.
I do know there is a mod for rffmpeg for this image. Has anyone tried to do something similar to this? Thanks.

Is your server not capable of transcoding locally?

I'm able to transcode locally. Yesterday I stumbled across rffmpeg in the documentation and wondered if it was possible to use my main machine to do the transcoding instead.

I've been told it is theoretically possible, but I'm not away of anyone successfully doing it nor do we have documentation to integrate it with Jellyfin.
