I have a Raspberry Pi 4 doing good work at feeding my Firestick with little to no issues.  When trying to watch on my iPad slow as a sloth if it works at all?

    Anything I can do?

Is it trying to transcode to your iPad?

Share your Jellyfin logs with us. Upload to sourcebin and link back here.

    /var/log/jellyfin

I just noticed your subtitle said your server is on a RPi. Which adds to my suspicions that it is trying to transcode to your iPad. And RPis just can't transcode.

It is sent to none. So, I assume not.

Setting hardware acceleration to none just means it will try to CPU transcode. But the jellyfin log would confirm what it is trying to do.
