jellyfin-mpv-shim doens't work since update to 10.9, I get clients: Client is not actually connected. (It does not show in the client list.) error.
OS: windows jellyfin-mpv-shim version: v2.6.0

I think I got something similar. I fixed it by removing my server and re-adding it to MPV shim.

Someone else had this problem and had to uninstall, clear out the stray MPV Shim data folders, and reinstall.

I also was running on Ubuntu 22.0.4LTS bare metal and 10.9.1 upgrade failed to stream to Firefox and had too many problems on other browsers as well.. I wiped purged re-installed 10.9.1 without any success.. then tried a docker install with latest 10.9.1 image and had same poor streaming results.. I then used a 10.8 image in docker and am back to the quality as before. There seems to be a trend where 10.9.1 just isn't working as intended..

Jellyfin MPV Shim was just updated. Give it a whirl and report back if it resolves your problem.
