Same issue here, running 10.11.2 on Unraid latest stable version. Jellyfin crashes at least once a day. Went through the same troubleshooting steps, narrowed it down to the music scan, would always crash at the same percent completed. Since I thought it was my music share, I deleted my instance of jellyfin, restarted from scratch without the music share, it still crashes.

Vanilla install, no plugins, one user, won't stay running for 24h.

No errors in the docker logs that I can see, it just shuts down.

I'm experiencing the same issue. I'm using:
Jellyfin 10.11.2
ffmpeg version 4.3.9-0+deb11u1
Debian (container) GNU/Linux 11 (bullseye) x86_64 (24 virtual cores / 128GB mem)
Proxmox 8.4.14 / kernel 6.8.12-4-pve

Media is all contained on a zfs filesystem mounted to the container.

After around a day of running, Jellyfin shows full CPU utilization from multiple processes with the following process command:
/usr/bin/jellyfin --webdir=/usr/share/jellyfin/web --ffmpeg=/usr/lib/jellyfin-ffmpeg/ffmpeg

At this point, Jellyfin is unresponsive and a restart of the service fixes the issue for another 24 hours. This issue started after upgrading to 10.11.2.

Weird that it's still crashing after eliminating the music. Mine has been stable since getting rid of my music. I also completely started over from scratch. Now I'm afraid to add it back, which sucks because I can't listen to my music on the go.

I am also having issues with the server crashing every night or morning. This was not happening with 10.10.7, but has started after upgrading to 10.11.1 and now 10.11.2. I get home from work to find that the server has stopped, I restart it and it runs fine all night while I watch shows from the FireTV app. Then after work the next day, it has stopped again.

I am also trying to fix an issue with FinAmp (which I know is a third party app) where I found a suggestion that I might be able to fix it by replacing all metadata of my music library. When I try manually running the metadata refresh, the server crashes when the refresh is between 17% and 22%. This seems to possibly match the problem of Secret_Agent_Super_Dragon as it's my music library that it's happening to.

That is certainly a good question. I'm now on 10.11.3 and the issue persists. Like I said in my previous post, it wasn't happening with 10.10.7 so something obviously changed on the backend that is causing this.

I keep hoping with every new version released that the issue will be fixed.

It's been 3 days now and no jellyfin crashes since the last clean install. This time I didn't add my music folder, and never installed the usual plugins (Intro Skipper, TheTVDB, Playback Reporting). I'll add them back one by one and see if it remains stable..
Anyone else experiencing these crashes using these plugins?

Try adding your music library back in first and see what happens.

Based on mine and another user's experience, I'm going to guess that is what's causing it. Though, I obviously can't guarantee it.

had issues upgrading jellyfin-server-bin from the AUR

- it's an older version that has not yet been upgraded to the most recent version and it fails to download some files.

So, I removed it.

The install jellyfin-server-git
there were some compile errors but it did complete and install.

It now fails to start.
I am hoping to get some more help.
