    Hello,

i wanted to playback a 4K video i have on the Google Streamer using the Jellyfin APP (0.18.5)

i noticed that the video got split, or moved to far to the left(?), as the part that should be on the left got displayed on the right.
I also tried to play the video on my PC using Chrome, an Android Phone and an other Android TV on all this devices the video displayed just fine.
So it only happens on the Google Streamer. Other Movies play just fine on it.

Does anybody had this Problem? Is there a known fix to it?

IIRC, this is a bug with the chipset that the Google TV streamer uses. Read this post for more info.

Is there any TV Box (that is available in Germany) that just works..?

In addition to my Google TV Streamer, I also have a Roku Ultra 4800X that I like. It also supports HDR. Some newer Fire TV/Box devices with Amlogic chipsets will also work.

Your other option is to convert the videos to plain HDR10. This chipset bug does not affect HDR10, just Dolby Vision.

The process for doing so is pretty simple, but entirely manual.
