So, I updated manually on Firestick, eager to see if this release implements a workaround for content black screen/failing to play using the built it player when DV 8.1 and HDR10 metadata are present.
It doesn't... Which is annoying, however the 'Report playback capabilities to server' button fails with "Failed to submit... Your server may prohibit client logs". Where do I allow these 'client logs'?

Any plans to add search by genres?

I have 2 servers on a Synology Nas with docker, 1 for routine (10.10.7) and 1 for test (10.11.5).
I don't find how to add the 2nd server on the jellyfin androidTV client app. Can you help? Thanks

Future Request if possible
Be great if jellyfin client could indicate when watching live tv if it gets a direct connection, transcoding or remuxing. client does not always direct connect to stream first attempt and a stop/start fixes it but currently only way to see what connection you have is at server end.

Sorry if this is ignorant post but. I see a popup on my jellyfin homescreen on fire tv saying to upgrade server to at least 10.11 if I want to use the app after the next update. I tried to update my server from 10.10.7 and for me it was a disaster. Is there a deadline on this. Really hoping the upgrade process on Linux is completely sorted first.

Same here, started getting this pop-up last night.
I don't consider 10.11.x as usable for myself yet, still some documented issues with the "next up" that are a stopper for me as well as some API stuff I haven't figured out yet (https://forum.jellyfin.org/t-targeted-gr...in-10-11-x ). So I can not and will not update until my user experience on 10.11.x isn't a downgrade from 10.10.7. For now I've disabled app updates on my android TV device in the hopes that I don't get a new update that locks me out of my own server.

Same here. I did the upgrade from 10.10.7 to 10.11 and it was a mess: system constantly restarting, metadata loss (or kept updating), unstable connections and so forth. My current setup with 10.10.7 is working stable and I really don't want to upgrade to the latest giving the problems I had and seeing the countless posts on different fora of people experiencing the same. I don't understand why the Android TV app is getting updated in a sense that it breaks with the old server base while the new server base is unstable to say the least. Please first work on creating a stable server base again, before making breaking changes in other parts. I fear that if you continue, the mess will get even bigger.
