I am relatively new to this setup and have been navigating my way through various forums, guides, and YouTube resources. However, I have encountered an issue that I have been unable to resolve.
Specifically, my GPU is not being utilized when playing media through Jellyfin. When I stream content directly on my NAS via a web browser, I can see the GPU activate, but this does not occur with Jellyfin—even when running four 4K streams simultaneously, with the CPU reaching 100% utilization. The GPU remains idle.
To troubleshoot, I have attempted playback across multiple clients, including Windows 11, Windows 10, iOS, Android, and Nvidia Shield, but the GPU still does not engage. I have confirmed that the container has the GPU option enabled, and I have tested hardware encoding both on and off without any noticeable difference.
Would anyone be able to suggest a possible fix for this issue?
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
