JellyFin keeps transcoding even if TV support the file format (LG WebOS)

I do not know if this can help to identify an issue... but I've tested it with a newer LG WebOS base TV, and it works correctly without transcoding. So I suppose it is a bug which is related to LG B6 version of WebOS or JellyFin app dealing with that model?

Could be either. We've seen bugs specific to certain models and even entire brands (Sony when playing Dolby Vision). But its hard for the devs to test if they don't own the TV.

I know some webOS TV does not report dolby vision profile 8 as supported even though it actually does, maybe yours is one of them.
