I recently rebuilt my Jellyfin service (Server Version: 10.11.0, Web Version: 10.11.0, Build: 10.11.0-rc2). During the library scan process, I noticed it overwrites existing local movie.nfo files.
I don't want it to overwrite these files. Instead, I want it to only use the existing local .nfo files and local images. This is because I've manually edited the local .nfo files, and they contain more information than what the scanner might fetch.
Below are my settings. Please help me check if there are any issues.(For some reason I can't upload images, so I'll describe my settings in text instead.)
Content type: Movies
✓ Enable the library
✓ Prefer embedded titles over filenames
✓ Prefer embedded titles over filenames for extras
✓ Enable real time monitoring
✓ Automatically add to collection
Metadata downloaders (Movies):
X TheMovieDb
X The Open Movie Database
Automatically refresh metadata from the internet:Never
Metadata savers:
✓ NFO
Image fetchers (Movies)
X All
Trickplay
X All
Chapter Images
X All
