Jellyfin Media Player - Gapless support?

Howdy,

I noticed that there doesn't appear to be gapless audio playback support in the Jellyfin Media Player (Desktop client for Windows). I have been using Feishin for a while and its good, but has a bug or two so fell back on the Jellyfin Media player.

Is gapless playback available somewhere that I am missing? Or is it planned?

AFAIK, it isn't supported in any official client.

But Feishin, a 3rd party music player, does support gapless audio when using MPV as the playback engine.

I have been using Feishin for a while and its good, but I have a couple of open bugs on github with it at the moment. Play/Pause via bluetooth and an album view draw problem.

I usually use it with the web player mode selected and playback sounds almost gapless already to me. However I have just installed MPV and set it to use that and its definitely gapless now. 

My question still stands though, are there plans to implement gapless support into the official clients?

I am not aware of any plans to add gapless support.
