Ok, worked it out. It was due to the new bitrate setting that was enabled in the app, it was re-encoding to bring the framerate down to the max level of Roku device. However, since it was never a problem on the old app I've disabled this and now my files are streaming directly again.


While it’s still somewhat limited, I can see the work in progress. Adding lyrics to the music (I use lrcget). I know Android and Android TV have already offered many of these features, Roku was lagging behind. I just want to say THANK YOU for bringing it up to speed!
