I'm not sure what secret sauce Jellyfin puts into their UPNP implementation, but I cannot get port forwarding working anywhere else. Even my router's port forwarding feature does not work. I tried every UPNP management cli, gui, tui. Nothing, nothing works except Jellyfin. How can I replicate this behavior?

Port forwarding is the ideal way. Routers handle uPnP differently, most will timeout a uPnP rule after a certain period for security reasons.

Verify that your router's firmware is up-to-date and retry port forwarding.
