    Hey there,

jellyfin is barely getting any artist pictures due to my odd taste I guess.
I couldn't find a plugin to scrape from something like metal archives, so is there a way to make jellyfin pick up local files for this?

I tried putting a JPG into /Artist/.. but that doesn't seem to get picked up either.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Smiling-face

Check out the Cover Art Archive plugin.

Jellyfin would pull down images if it was able to identify your music. And it uses the embedded ID3 tags. If your music isn't uniformly tagged, use something like Musicbrainz Picard to analyze the music and automagically fill out your metadata and it will also embedded images.
    Jellyfin 10.11.11 (Docker)
    Debian 13 w/Xanmod amd64v3 LTS kernel
    AMD Ryzen 5500 w/32GB DDR4
    Intel Arc A380
    OS drive - SK Hynix P41 1TB
    ZFS Storage pool
        vdev1 - 6x WD Red Pro 6TB CMR in RAIDZ1
        vdev2 - 3x WD Red Pro 18TB CMR in RAIDZ1

I am manually fixing every single album via mp3tag and musicbrainz.
Album Art works since I already embed it, either via musicbrainz or manually if musicbrains database fails me again.

Here's an example for an artist that doesn't get an image from jellyfin:
