    Greetings,

I am somewhat new to Jellyfin. I have setup a Jellyfin server on my Proxmox host. All is working just fine, however, I have many many concerts I've recorded (Jazz Artists). I use Ubuntu primarliy on my desktop. I've used multiple MP3 tagging programs like EasyTAG and id3tool to try to add MP3 info like Artist, Concert dates, and song titles on these manually mp3's, they do mot show up in my Jellyfin list at all. Even if I drop them all into one specific folder, the MP3's do not show up at all in Jellyfin. I can see those MP3's in varios other players, however.

Is there something I am missing with manual MP3's that data is not pulled from a CDDB server?

Does Jellyfin have permission to read the files?

Yes, the directories are read/write non-root access as far as I can tell.

So all the other folders are working as expected? Just not the Live folder? Can you show us the output of ffprobe on one of these live concert recordings?

I don't think it is tagging related but pure file structure related. The Live folder is a reserved keyword which will not be resolved if that folder contains no subfolders but only bare music files iirc, and if that is your case you can try rename Live to something else or put each live file into its own subfolder. Would please post the folder structure of albums and live? because both are reserved folder name but apparently one of them are working for you.

Actually, they are broken down into sub-folders by concert date:

    Code:

Ohhhh, so you are adding a library with its folder being part of another library? That won't work. This is not a supported use case. The libraries should not have cross-referenced folders and must on their own to behave properly.
